Several generations later this hard, yet smooth fiber became used in seagrass rugs, which was woven onto latex-backed floor covering as a simple or basket-weave patterns. Seagrass rugs and carpets have a naturally smooth texture and have a non-porous surface. From nature seagrass rugs are durable and will serve a long life to their owners. |
